The Donation of the Hills
Walt Stubbs who was the chief of Dearborn’s volunteer fire department told the HuffPost that the creation of the new station was only possible because of the donation made by Hills. If they had to use tax money, it looked almost impossible and it would have taken twenty-five years to build the same station!
The Hills then helped them to build something that was four times bigger than the old station they had and would help the firefighters and ambulance to have ready access to the main roads and highways. Now they would get help in little less than half an hour which was a great boon for the town.
