Linda Campbell – $8.46 billion CAN ($6.72 billion US)
Linda Campbell is the granddaughter of newspaper titan, Roy Thomson, who held the 1st Baron Thomson of Fleet position because of his work in the news and information business.
Her grandfather began their journey holding the position of the single newspaper in Ontario called the Timmins Daily Press. Phyllis Audrey, one of Roy Thomson’s sons with her husband Elwood Campbell, went on to have three children of her own, and Linda Campbell was one of them.
Campbell owns an 11% stake in the Thomson family’s fortune. Campbell is also known for his philanthropic efforts and she, along with her two sisters, went on to spend 30 million USD to create the center of Campbell Center for Addiction and Mental Health.
Linda Campbell’s net worth has seen a growth in recent times that amount to $8.46 billion CAN ($6.72 billion US).
