The two-time winner of the unified world heavyweight championship title has laid his hands on the IBO, WBO, IBF, and the WBA (Super) titles within five years. He has also won the Commonwealth as well as the British heavyweight titles at the regional level.
After the legendary James DeGale, Joshua happens to be just the second boxer to have won an Olympic gold medal as well as a world title awarded by a professional sanctioning body. Critics have rated him as the third-best active heavyweight boxer.

He still wants to be an amateur boxer and according to reports, he has refused an offer worth $60,000 to turn into a professional one.
