Although she was aware of the constant gaze of the people, she still decided to take things in her stride. Whatever, the people may be doing, she knew that she can’t deprive her baby and feed the baby to ensure they get proper nutrition.
Although, she could handle the staring part, what she could not bear was the waitress staring at them fixedly, was she staring at her or Tom? She couldn’t for the life of her understand that! She was just hoping that it was not Tom she was looking at! It was certainly very rude of her if that was the case.
