Currently playing for the Philadelphia 76ers, Australian NBA star Ben Simmons is only 22 but has taken the basketball world by storm. With an American father who enjoyed playing the sport in his youth, Ben was probably inspired by his dad to hone his basketball skills. In fact, Ben played for his college’s basketball team, the Louisiana State University Tigers, for one season, and that stint did not go unnoticed as he was then selected by the NBA Draft in 2016.
