Michael Jordan – $29 Million, Chicago
Michael Jordan, who bagged the “Most Valuable NBA Player” award five times, is a FIBA Hall of Famer, too. The former NBA star, who earned fame and riches by playing for the Chicago Bulls, invested a few million dollars in an Illinois mansion that the NBA legend has been trying to sell off for the last six years but to no avail. As per latest reports, Air Jordan is all set to auction off his 56,000-square-foot North Chicago house and the price has dropped to $15 million from a staggering original listing price of $29 million. While we are quite sure that MJ would never need the services of a bankruptcy attorney, we are not very sure as to why he has decided to sell off this one-of-a-kind property. In case you are an MJ fan and won’t mind shelling out top dollars for a property where he used to live, the ginormous mansion has 9 bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, a wine cellar, a gaming room, a state-of-the-art gym, an indoor basketball court, and even a sports bar.
