Tarek El Moussa was born on August 21, 1981, and although he has Middle-Eastern roots he grew up in Long Beach, California. Tarek, a real estate agent and a house flipper based in Orange County, California. He is famous for buying houses at auction, then renovating them, and then earn profits after selling them.

He started with his real estate business when he was just 21. Armed with his real estate license, he started exploring homes. The flipping show was what turned the tide on him as he met his future wife Christina Haack. They turned out to be a great team as Christina focused on design, while Tarek saw to the renovations.
