How Not to Silent Disco
In this photo of a silent disco, where everyone’s grooving to their own beat, this guy stands out. He’s trying to “Shazam” a song only he can hear through his headphones. For those new to the concept, imagine a dance floor buzzing with energy, but without audible music. It’s a concert of one, times however many are there, each lost in their private sound bubble.
Onlookers might find the sight bizarre. But isn’t it fun how everyone’s dancing like nobody’s watching because everyone’s too busy with their own jam? And then there’s our Shazam warrior, phone in hand, optimistic that his app will somehow tune into his headphone frequency.
