Christopher Andersen is an American former professional basketball player. The long Beach-born Andersen grew up in Iola, Texas, and began playing for the Blinn College. Andersen began working for the Chinese Basketball Association and the American minor leagues. He then played in the NBA for the Denver Nuggets and the New Orleans Hornets. Although, he faced a hurdle in his career when he was banned for two years from the NBA in 2006, his career was reinstated on March 4, 2008, and he was back on boards with the Hornets the next day. He continued to play for the team until 2012.

Birdman continues to play in the NBA  till the 2017 season and currently, he is working hard on his physique to get his foot back into the NBA. He is not one to give up on his dreams anytime soon.

He now plays for Power in the Big3 league and he is in great shape now so a few more years in the big league is not going to be such a big ask for him.
