Gilbert Arenas, a three-time NBA All-Star, with 11,402 career points in his 11-year NBA career didn’t have it easy at the start of his career. But, he tried, his best, worked hard and his comeback proved that he is talented.
The truth is nobody thought that Gilbert Arenas would be as good as he turned out to be. He was drafted in the 2001 NBA draft. He successfully added a huge amount of $163 million to his bank account before retiring.
However, he didn’t choose to sit on his laurels and resumed work in a different arena. He ditched the 9-to-5 format, works for Complex as a sports commentator, and also went out to be a YouTube sports show presenter which is the kind of second innings he wanted. He has scripted a success story that very few can mimic.
