Sebastián Ligarde es un reconocido actor de origen mexicano que lleva al menos cincuenta años construyendo su trayectoria profesional. Su debut en el mundo artístico fue en teatro, aunque obtuvo gran reconocimiento en la industria por sus apariciones en películas y telenovelas. Participó en producciones como Entre la vida y la muerte y En carne propia.
A través de una revista publicada en 2013, el famoso actor mexicano hizo pública su orientación sexual: confesó ser homosexual y allí fue cuando destapó su oculta relación que llevaba aproximadamente veinte años. Se inspiró en la estrella musical Ricky Martin para animarse a revelar semejante intimidad.
