Este atractivo actor ha tenido que hablar públicamente sobre su vida privada tras sufrir un robo de información personal por parte de un hacker, en 2016. Se viralizaron fotos íntimas de Polo con Lambda García y desde allí se confirmó su homosexualidad. El actor afirma que no era su intención mantener su sexualidad en secreto, simplemente eran cuestiones privadas.
