Stéphane Delajoux, bien qu’ayant trouvé sa vocation dans la médecine en tant que neurochirurgien, est familier avec le show-business puisque plusieurs de ses patients ont été des célébrités françaises. Cela inclut Marie Trintignant, Charlotte Gainsbourg et Johnny Hallyday. Traiter Johnny a d’ailleurs causé des soucis en 2009, lorsque les problèmes respiratoires du célèbre rocker lui ont été attribués.
Cette affaire est elle-même liée à sa séparation avec Isabelle Adjani, qui était mariée à lui de 2004 à 2009. Adjani a reproché à Delajoux d’avoir détourné une grosse somme qu’elle lui a prêté en créant une société factice. C’est pourtant dans toutes ces épreuves que Delajoux a rencontré Julie Andrieu, laquelle l’a même épousé en 2010 et reste engagé à lui jusqu’alors.
