KATE WINSLET ET EDWARD ABEL SMITH
Kate Winslet a fait la rencontre d’Edward Abel Smith, anciennement connu comme Ned Rocknroll, en 2011 lors de vacances aux Caraïbes. Cette rencontre s’est d’ailleurs opérée de manière intense, étant donné que Winslet avait assisté à l’incendie d’une résidence qui avait appartenu à la famille de Ned.
Malgré cet épisode dramatique de la vie de Ned, ce dernier a très vite entamé avec Kate Winslet une histoire d’amour qui s’est concrétisée par un mariage célébré de manière discrète en 2012. Dans ses confidences sur sa relation avec Edward, Winslet le décrit comme un partenaire compréhensif. En plus des enfants que Kate a eu de précédentes relations, ils ont eu un fils nommé Bear en 2013.
