REINE MAXIMA DES PAYS-BAS ET WILLEM-ALEXANDER
La romance à valeur historique entre La Reine Máxima et le Roi Willem-Alexander des Pays-Bas a été entamée en 1999 dans le contexte d’une fête en Espagne. Máxima a ses origines en Argentine et travaille dans le milieu des finances avant de faire la rencontre du futur roi des Pays-Bas. C’est en 2001 que leur relation a été rendu public, précédant ainsi leur mariage célébré à Amsterdam en 2002.
Trois filles sont nées de leur relation, lesquelles s’appellent Catharina-Amalia, Alexia et Ariane. Bien qu’étant initialement peu familière avec la famille royale néerlandaise, Máxima s’est vite imposée comme une figure populaire de celle-ci. Il faut dire qu’elle est très charismatique et s’est souvent montrée dynamique dans la conduite des actions humanitaires.
