Jean Stapleton fue una de las mejores actrices de su época, logrando ganar tres Emmy y 2 Globos de oro. Esta gran actriz estadounidense nació en 1923 y se dedicó al teatro, a la televisión y a las películas. Su rol más importante fue el de Edith Bunker en la exitosa sitcom, All in the Family. Todos sus premios los obtuvo al participar en esta serie. La actriz tuvo una gran familia y una carrera profesional muy exitosa, Jean falleció en el 2013 de causas naturales rodeada de sus familiares y amigos. Es difícil encontrar algún comentario negativo sobre esta actriz y todos concuerdan que fue un gran ser humano.
