Photographer Sets Up To Capture A Lioness Eating An Antelope In The Wild—But Was Met With A Mind-Blowing Phenomenon Instead!

The Antelope Might Not be so Lucky

The antelope lacks the necessary coping mechanism to feel at ease in this situation. According to theory, lion cubs’ ability to become immobile is partially a reflex action, but it may also be mostly due to the cub’s awareness that struggling while being clenched between fangs could be a little harmful to its health.

Cubs tuck their legs up to keep them from snagging jagged twigs or other things that their mother passes, unlike the antelope, who continued to struggle to free himself. It is safe to assume that it endured pain throughout the journey. But for the lioness, it was just business as usual.
