Randal Howard Paul is an American politician and physician who served as the junior United States Senator from Kentucky since 2011. He is the son of twelve-term U.S. Representative Ron Paul of Texas. Paul was a candidate for the Republican nomination at the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Rand walked down the aisle with Kelley Paul in 1990. When she met him, she had no idea that he was a doctor. The two met at a backyard party in Atlanta in 1988. Rand met Kelley and memorized her phone number by heart, even calling her the next day.  They now live in  Bowling Green, Kentucky, where they share William, Duncan, and Robert.

Kelley has been a big supporter of her Husband’s campaigns for the United States Senate and next for the presidency. Campaigning for him opened new avenues for Kelley as a speechwriter, a political consultant, and an author. Her published work includes a book by the title of True and Constant Friends: Love and Inspiration from Our Grandmothers, Mothers, and Friends. The two have been together for thirty years now and are soul mates in the real sense of the word.
