George W. Bush – $300K, F-150 King Ranch

George W. Bush followed the footsteps of John Quincy Adams by succeeding his father George H.W. Bush, as John followed his dad, John Adams.

Bush often went to Crawford, Texas when he was president to spend time on his ranch and even invited several other foreign dignitaries. Right after his presidential role was over, he bought an F-150 King Ranch truck in 2009. Meant mostly for his own use, the truck was a 4×4 SuperCrew and not a very cheap one.

Whether he took auto insurance for it is something we aren’t sure of, but then the dashboard was autographed by him and then sent to Barrett-Jackson for sale, that raised about $300K for charity!
