John F. Kennedy – $39K, 1961 Ford Thunderbird Convertible

John F. Kennedy was always a Ford Thunderbird fan. He was often seen cruising the streets with the Thunderbird and might have even turned it into an iconic car of that 60s and 70s due to his sheer suaveness.

He personally owned a 1961 T-Bird convertible with a 1963 hardtop – something that wasn’t the easiest to come by. JFK had such an affinity for the cars that he pushed Ford to create an excess amount so that they could be the cars use for his inauguration and presidency.

With a style like that, we can see why! Nicknamed the “Bullet Birds”, these cars are pretty powerful with heavy V8 engines underneath the hood and a design that is so classic, almost anyone can recognize the brand and style instantly.
