Jimmy Carter and Rosalynn Carter – Together Since 1946
There are many sides to Jimmy Carter. He is the 39th U.S. president who served his country from 1977 to 1981. Before that, he was the senator from Georgia between 1963 and 1967 and the governor of Georgia between 1971 and 1975.
He has done immense philanthropic work throughout his life and has been the co-founder of the Carter Center, contributing to which has earned him the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize. The foundation stone was laid in the year 1982 and has always worked to promote human rights.
He shares an epic love story with his wife of 74 years, Rosalynn. The pair have played a long inning and certainly deserves all the praise and adulation. Carter and Rosalyn have broken the record for the longest-running presidential marital partnership ever. We have immense respect for the two and would love to see them make many more memories together.
