Marco Antonio Rubio is an American politician serving as the senior United States senator from Florida. A former Republican, he also worked as a speaker of the Florida House of Representatives.
While her husband has been largely in the public eye, Jeanette Dousdebes Rubio, Marco’s wife, has largely preferred to stay in the background. She is the perfect foil to his political career as she is apolitical and non-confrontational.
Yet Jeanette has played a huge role in Rubio’s rise, offering great political advice and taking the responsibilities of raising four children. Rubio has been climbing the steep ladder of success with her support, and Jeanette is preparing herself to step into the fray. They have come a long way since they were high-school sweethearts, from the day he proposed right in front of the Empire State Building to now being man and wife and constantly supporting each other through the various ups and downs of life.
