Richard John Santorum is an American politician, attorney, and political commentator. A member of the Republican Party, he went on to serve as the United States Senator from Pennsylvania from 1995 to 2007. He sealed the position as the Senate’s third-ranking Republican for six years. Santorum became a CNN senior political commentator in 2017.

Richard walked down the aisle with his sweetheart Karen Garver Santorum in 1990. When she met Dr. Allen, Mrs. Santorum, she was a 22-year-old nursing student who shared his liberal views. She is an author by profession and her husband’s biggest supporter.

The duo, Karen and Rick Santorum, walked down the aisle in 1990. Together they share seven children, all of whom have been home-schooled.
