John Kerry and Teresa Heinz – Together Since 1995

John Kerry grabbed the limelight when he became the nominee for the Democratic Party during the presidential election in the year 2004. He lost to George W. Bush. John served as the U.S. Secretary of State between 2013 and 2017. He has always been a vocal opponent of the incumbent American president, Donald Trump.

He will be serving as the United States Special Presidential Envoy for Climate in the Joe Biden administration. John and Teresa came across each other for the first time at the Earth Day rally in 1990 and started going around in 1993. After a two-year courtship, the couple decided to take the plunge in 1995.

Politically, Teresa is a Republican, and she has chosen to stay so even after her wedding to John. Well, despite being a Democrat, the former presidential candidate never had issues with that, and that goes on to prove how strong their understanding has been.
