CBS is the flagship property of Paramount Global’s division of CBS Entertainment Group. The CBS Building is situated in New York City. The CBS Broadcast Center in NYC, along with the CBS Studio Center and the CBS Television City, both situated in Los Angeles and One Astor Plaza, situated in Times Square, delivers the production facilities and operations.

The key people are Kelly Kahl, Sean McManus, Neeraj  Khemlani, Wendy McMahon, and George Cheeks. The commercial broadcast television as well as radio network was founded in 1927. Coming to the CBS logo, the idea was hatched by Bill Golden, the creative director of CBS in 1951, when he was passing by the Pennsylvania Dutch County.

Initially, the main idea was to make the logo work in motion. The eye’s pupil clicked open like a shutter to show – CBS Television Network. On second thought, the human eye can scare off evil spirits. That was good for business.
