Prudential
The iconic Prudential visual identity can be seen anywhere around. The logo has a light and elegant emblem with a traditional wordmark under it.
The Rock of Gibraltar has been the original Prudential symbol since 1885. Although much water has flown under the bridge, the company still uses the rock on its logo and it portrays strength and solidarity to its customers.
The company’s emblem was conceptualized in 1848 and had one of 4 cardinal virtues, from the painting of Sir Joshua Reynolds. On the first version, you could note the firm’s visual identity with the symbol of a lady standing straight and staring at the hand mirror in her left hand. The logo has stayed on and stuck to the original emblem.
