These Successful Companies Are Known For Their Bold and Striking Logos

Nestlé

The Nestlé logo may seem strange at first glance as it does not seem to be related to any of its products. However, it comes from a Swiss founder Henri Nestlé’s family coat of arms. His family name means little nest in German.

Henri Nestlé was one of the first Swiss manufacturers who built up his brand from scratch and his logo also had something to do with it.

Henri Nestlé made a few changes in the coat of arms as he added three young birds being fed by a mother, to create a visual link between the name linking it to several cereal products. He started using the trademark in 1868. The familiar bird’s nest logo still endures on, of course with a few changes here and there.
