O nome dele é Carlos Gilberto Nascimento, mas o zagueiro do Corinthians é conhecido pelos torcedores como Gil. Ele passou por oito clubes durante toda a sua carreira, que começou profissionalmente em 2004, embora ele já jogasse futebol desde 2001, no time do Rio Branco. Mas ele não se contentou apenas com os clubes brasileiros: antes de voltar ao Timão, Gil passou também pelo time chinês Shandong Luneng, com o qual participou de 134 jogos. Seus prêmios incluem o de Melhor zagueiro do Campeonato Goiano em 2009, duas Bolas de Prata e o Prêmio Craque do Brasileirão como melhor zagueiro no Campeonato Brasileiro de 2014 e 2015! Não é para qualquer um.
Aproveitando todo esse sucesso, o craque decidiu adquirir uma casa pra lá de luxuosa: localizada em Campo dos Goytacazes, no Rio de Janeiro, a mansão é tão esplendorosa que ganhou o apelido de “Casa Privilége”. Com 980 m², a nada humilde residência conta com duas salas de estar, uma de jantar, espaço gourmet, sala de jogos, sala de cinema para 40 pessoas e, claro, um campo de futebol! Nada mal.
