El Schnauzer gigante, a diferencia de muchas otras razas de perros más grandes, tiene una gran cantidad de energía y debe ejercitarse varias veces al día. Este perro de alta energía, afortunadamente, tiene un alto nivel de inteligencia y se le pueden enseñar nuevos trucos. Habiendo dicho eso, ¡esta raza no es para el dueño inexperto en absoluto! Los Schnauzers gigantes tienen un fuerte sentido de territorialidad con sus compañeros humanos, pero también pueden determinar si otra persona es una amenaza o no.
