Die amerikanische Schauspielerin Catherine Bach wurde vor allem durch ihre Rolle als Daisy Duke in Ein Duke kommt selten allein bekannt, eine der berühmtesten Fernsehserien der Welt. Bach’s Karriere hatte mit der Serie jedoch auch ihren Höhepunkt erreicht, auch wenn sie in einigen kleinen Filmproduktionen mitwirkte und sogar ein paar Gastauftritte in anderen Serien hatte. Sie scheint sehr gut gealtert zu sein und ist den Drogen und Entzugskliniken fern geblieben. Einige haben vermutet, dass ihre schwindende Schauspielkarriere das Altersheim für sie bedeuten würde, doch glücklicherweise geht es ihr gut und sie verkauft momentan sogar ihre eigene Diamantenschmuck-Kollektion in der Kaufhauskette Debenham.
