Just one season on Netflix and an untimely end came for Disjointed that had Kathy Bates essaying the role of an advocate for legalization who fulfilled her dream as the owner of a dispensary. A rare multi-camera comedy that earned the acclamation of many, the 20-episode first season sadly didn’t fetch good ratings (23% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes). Way past the retirement age, Kathy delivered a solid performance, and we can surely vouch for the fact that her age or fitness didn’t come in the way of the series going off the air. Netflix now airs more multi-cam shows, replacing Disjointed.
