The Irishman
A star-studded cast, consisting Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, and Anna Paquin, is not the only reason to watch out for this Netflix original. Based on a book titled I Heard You Paint Houses by Charles Brandt, The Irishman is directed by renowned director Martin Scorsese and is expected to be released in 2019. Though Scorsese is definitely old school, going by the recent trend in direct-to-streaming movies and shows, it is quite evident why he finally took the plunge. All the industry veterans have been chosen carefully to play significant roles in this mob epic. Just when people though Scorsese might retire, he is back to doing what he does best — making movies.
