All The Shows Netflix Has Canceled – Which of your Favorite Shows Is Leaving Netflix For Good?
The Killing
The Killing originally premiered on AMC in 2011, but was eventually canceled the following year. AMC brought it back for a second time for cable TV watchers, and it was canceled again at which point Netflix announced that a fourth season of the show was in the works. The fourth season eventually ended in 2014, and there’s no confirmation yet from Netflix about the possible renewal of the show. The crime drama, which is loosely based on a Danish TV series, was created by Danish producer and writer Søren Sveistrup. The series garnered mixed audience reaction and critical acclaim in its first season, but the season finale ended without finding out the actual killer, leaving its fans in the dark. For the showrunner Veena Sud, however, retirement is still out of question as quite a few new projects are in the pipeline.
