Netflix has already announced a third season of the dark comedy series which stars Timothy Olyphant and Drew Barrymore, among others. The 10-episode third season will be launched in 2019, and all the main cast members, including Drew Barrymore, Liv Hewson, as well as Skyler Gisondo, will return with the launch of the new season. One of the most popular comedy shows in the history of Netflix, Santa Clarita Diet is about an average suburban couple named Sheila and Joel who raise their teenage daughter in Santa Clarita, California. Sheila undergoes an unexpected change and together, they go through a number of obstacles and go down the road of death and destruction, albeit in a rather ‘good way’. As the third season of the show is well underway, you still have at least one more chance left to catch all the fun on cable TV. We also heard that Barrymore underwent a cosmetic surgery last year, so chances are there that you would be able to see her amazing transformation on Netflix for the first time in the last few months. She is TV’s newest zombie, after all!
