Debra Paget was born to Margaret Allen, who was an actress as well. Quite naturally, she wanted her children to get in the industry. Out of her five kids, four got in the show business. They learned the best from mommy dearest whose time in the industry began when Debra was only eight years old. Her first stage appearance happened with Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives Of Windsor at the age of 13.  However, her most notable works were in The Ten Commandments, Love Me Tender, and The Indian Tomb. While the first one is a classic and needs little introduction, the second one was Elvis Presley’s debut movie.
