Iconic Celebrities From The Golden Age That Are Still Alive – For Them Age Really Is Just A Number

Debra Paget — 1933

Debra Paget was born to Margaret Allen, who was an actress as well. Quite naturally, she wanted her children to get in the industry. Out of her five kids, four got in the show business. They learned the best from mommy dearest whose time in the industry began when Debra was only eight years old. Her first stage appearance happened with Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives Of Windsor at the age of 13.  However, her most notable works were in The Ten Commandments, Love Me Tender, and The Indian Tomb. While the first one is a classic and needs little introduction, the second one was Elvis Presley’s debut movie. Her snake dance in The Indian Tomb is still remembered. Regarding her personal life, her three marriages had ended in divorce. But her great career had definitely helped her in retirement planning, and we hope she has the best health insurance that money can buy.

Bern Nadette Stanis – 1953

A prominent actor, writer, and dancer, Bern Nadette Stanis procured admiration as Thelma Anne Evans-Anderson in six consecutive seasons of the popular sitcom on CBS, Good Times. We have been dazzled by her enormous screen presence time and again. She has pledged her support to individuals who have been a victim of  Alzheimer’s since the time her mom was diagnosed with the same disease.  Her recent projects include a television appearance on Way Black When in 2010, along with books such as The Last Night and Situations 101: Relationships that she has authored. She is in good shape nowadays, and we guess her workout sessions under a professional trainer are truly coming to her aid.
