Over her career, Maddow’s life partner, Susan Mikula, has been a rock and source of support. The two have been together for two decades and had a dramatic first encounter! Maddow was busy with her doctoral dissertation when Mikula hired her to do her yard work! Well, let’s just say that something else took root that day, and it wasn’t anything to do with plants! The two have been a couple ever since.
