 Joanna Lumley and Stephen Barlow – Together Since 1986

If you have seen Absolutely Fabulous, the popular BBC sitcom, you’ll know Patsy Stone, played by Joanna. Her role was much loved by not only her fans but also by critics. She also went on to win several awards and accolades BAFTA TV Award twice. Her other popular shows on TV include, The New Avengers, Jam & Jerusalem, Ella Enchanted, The Wolf of Wall Street, and Trail of the Pink Panther.

Joanna is married to the eminent opera conductor Stephen Barlow in 1986.  She shares how the small things in their lives keep them together. She says she still likes to write postcards to her husband when she is away from home instead of using a phone to call.  How sweet!

They lead a wonderful lifestyle in Penpont, Scotland. They also have a son, Jamie, and two granddaughters. In other words, we can say, they have a picture-perfect family. We hope they continue to lead a life of peace and happiness.
