Debido a que Jonathon pasó un momento tan positivo con Polly y su amiga, era natural que sintiera un abrumador sentido de responsabilidad de cuidar de ellos.
En Facebook, se proporcionó una descripción de la celebración, en la que se hizo evidente que McDonald’s se había negado a servirle un vaso de agua a Polly.
Comentó que “no sé qué pasó por su cabeza [en la cajera], pero una mujer obviamente sin casa estaba pidiendo un derecho humano básico, y que una empresa multimillonaria le diga que no es repugnante”. Se refería a la mujer que había pedido la cajera.
