Until 2021, the multinational conglomerate operated in sectors such as renewable energy, power, aviation, locomotives, digital industry, weapons manufacturing, as well as venture capital and finance. However, the company has decided to divest from many sectors among these and is known to be operating in only renewable energy, power, aviation, and digital industry.
Thomas Alva Edison’s unimaginable talents and business interests led to the formation of this company. The General Electric logo was designed in the last decade of the 19th century and modified later on by Wolff Olins. The circular shape signifies the company’s timeless quality.
