Jared Leto – Starvation
Jared Leto is another versatile actor who will do almost anything in order to look perfect for a role. For his role in Dallas Buyer’s Club, which eventually got him an Academy Award, Leto had to lose 30 pounds as he had to play the role of an AIDS patient. Jared was so committed to his character that he ate very less for days, even resorting to voluntary starvation which led to a weight loss of 38 pounds. He has done similar experiments with weight many times. After this movie was over, he then gained weight for another movie he was doing.
