Diane Keaton – Est. $1.5 million, Los Angeles

When the Academy Award winner had taken a pause from life in Hollywood, she often used her free time visiting construction sites in the hopes of finding a suitable abode. Finally, she got hold of her grand Los Angeles farmhouse, which is spread over an area of 8,000 square feet and is the subject of her new book “The House That Pinterest Built”.

Diane Keaton has shelled out $1.5 million dollars to design the property with her own hands and the project has taken over three and a half years – she now calls it a “dream home”. The interiors are filled with pure white cabinetry, raw wooden, beams, subway tile, shiplap-covered walls, and a variety of antiques. This is surely one of the nicest investments of her life.
