Robert Downey Jr. has made a fortune through his acting career, and he owns many real estates, with his most recent purchase being the renowned “Edward DeRose Windmill Cottage” in East Hamptons. He got it for $11.9 million, something quite reasonable considering its long history. The home was constructed to be a playhouse, but was renovated with structural additions to make it a house over the decades after it was constructed. It is in a secluded location and surrounded by enchanting landscape, the garden landscaped by Joseph Tee. Sitting on four acres of space, this mansion consists of a main house with seven bedrooms and four bathrooms, along with a windmill part which includes an office and a big library. Moreover, it comes with a 2-bedroom guest house, a massive pool, lush gardens with sculpted trees, and a tennis court.
