The 10,000 square feet mansion boasts seven bedrooms and luxury features that provide room for at least four cars and docking for boats – in fact it has seven consecutive boat slips on the hill down to the lake. So, McConaughey not only bothers with home insurance for the $4 million mansion – his concerns include general insurance for his leisure sailing equipment and vessels. He certainly needs all the relaxation he can get. The Spanish Mediterranean inspired home was erected in 1997. The home offers a view of the green wilderness and inside the home it is magnificent. There is plenty of wooden accents and lots of white to balance the home as well. The home was completely remodelled by the couple.
