According to sales records, Lauper has sold more than 20 million singles as well as 50 million albums to date. Because of her immense fame, she was easily able to rake in a lot of money to her name.

She and her spouse, David Thornton, put their French-style Connecticut house on the market recently and quoted the price at an estimated $1.25 million, excluding the home insurance costs. The five-bedroom abode covers an area of 2885 square feet, and there are a number of fireplaces spread across the house. Outside, there is a guest house, a swimming pool, and a cozy living room. Sounds perfect for Lauper!
