Emma has again used her love of special effects makeup to transform herself into an undead version of ‘Ariel’ from “The Little Mermaid.” The 2023 live-action remake starred Halle Bailey as ‘Ariel’ and Melissa McCarthy as ‘Ursula.’ However, it’s hard to tell whether this undead princess of the sea would possess the same vocal powers as the original.
Ariel’s beautiful red hair is the most iconic feature of this cosplay. So it’s interesting to learn that the original character was initially meant to be a blonde. However, red was later chosen because it complemented the green hue of her fin.
