Spend too much time staring at the vivid colors of this body art, and one would almost believe they’re dreaming while awake. After all, where else would we see such vibrancy if not in lucid dreams? The artist behind this piece relied on phosphorescent paints to create a sustained glow that lights up in dark places.
However, such paints have a limited lifespan and can only glow for up to 12 hours after exposure to light. Most glow-in-the-dark paints are made from non-toxic phosphorus, so they’re safe for use on the face and body.
