A Humanoid Ragdoll With a Pure Heart
Emma was inspired by “The Nightmare Before Christmas” to cosplay as Sally, a rag-doll character. Sally was created by Doctor Finkelstein—note the similar name—to be his companion. However, she’s intelligent and longs for independence, causing her overprotective creator to restrain her repeatedly.
In the film, Sally has a crush on another character ‘Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King.’ Too bad the audience never finds out if she ever becomes his bride. Sally is also easily recognizable by the blueish hue of her skin and the stitches on her face, which the artist has managed to imitate.
