Joan Rivers — $290 Million
Joan Rivers passed away in 2014 after having an amazingly successful career and amassing a net worth of $290 million. She was known for her sarcastic yet witty comments that made her the “Queen Of Mean”. Her stint with QVC actually helped her earn more than her acting chops and sense of humor, so now we know why she was so sarcastic about everything!
Her only child is Melissa Rivers, the prominent actress, and TV host. Joan’s career began in 1959, and already in the ’60s, she was called “quite possibly the most intuitively funny woman alive” by Jack Gould of the New York Times. In 2017, Joan was posthumously inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame.
