When it comes to celebrity status, Selena Gomez certainly overshadows her mother Mandy Teefey. Selena’s rise to fame was phenomenal. She started her journey as a Disney star, and, at the age of sixteen, she landed her own production company which says a lot about her entrepreneurial skills. Her songs soon made it to the top of the charts and she was known worldwide. Though her parents have been in a divorce, it was her mom who took up three jobs in order to support her and provide for her.
